Painting Walls

Painting bathroom walls!

What crazy mother would let their kids do that?!

This one.

The Bubs had so much fun.
I'm painting!
I'm painting the walls!
I'm painting here,
and here,
and here!

And
with just as much glee
we washed the walls together.
I'm spraying water!
I'm washing!
I'm washing the walls!
I'm helping Mummy!

---------------------

My dear Bubbles will be turning TWO in 2 days!
I can hardly believe it.
Read all about her 1st birthday party here.
I'm now planning her 2nd!

Happy birthday Bubbles in advance! :) Coolness, you let her paint the walls, looks like fun! What kind of paint did you let her use?

Hahahha, you are one daring mama! :P But seriously, this is a cool idea...and yes, what paints would be easily washable?
Blessed birthday, bubbles! (You are one very blessed baby... ;)

Hi Corsage, I chanced about your blog whilst browsing. Great idea! Good way to entertain the kids :)

Was it hard to get rid of the paint? I once used chalk and washable paint on the concrete floor outside my flat and I had to scrub extremely hard to remove it (there are still faint marks left). Perhaps paint on wall tiles are easily washable as compared to concrete surfaces.

Happy birthday Bubbles. Must say she's really advanced with her language skills for a two year old. Hope she has a blast on her special day :)

Thanks for the birthday wishes! This paint was Crayola's Washable Fingerpaint. I think you can try other washable paint as well but check first if they can really be washed off your walls - esp the grouting if you're painting on tiles like we did!

Ai Sakura:
Haha! I think if I let her she would love to!! But nah ;) I'm hoping I get good photos this year as I decided to do without a photographer! I'm usually the family photographer but I'll be running around on that day as the party will be at home.

This particular paint was easy to wash off as long as it is not left on for too long. As we were in the bathroom it was easy to use the showerhead to wash down!

Lilac Butterfly:
THANK YOU! :)

Imp:
Exactly! I decided to let her do it so she has an outlet to do wall drawings since she's already started experimenting on our walls!

Bookjunkie:
Go do it! And yours can probably be left on the walls :)

Jacinta:
Oh, I'm sure you'll have tons of fun with your kids in the future! :)

Susan:
Thanks for the birthday wishes! Yes we've been told she speaks really well for her age. We're thankful. I just need to expose her more to Mandarin too!
