We told Bubbles that she would get sand play every day during our Krabi stay.
She was very excited about it and would be the first to step out of the room every morning.
Quik, quik, hurry up! She would say.
Pony-tail! She'll agreeably say. Toddlers!

For a resort that limits the number of kids, they had a lovely selection of sand toys!
We needn't have brought our own Ikea ones.
Here's her mumbling to herself: So many, so many..toys.
Moulding the lovely, soft sand.
One of our lovely discoveries was that the beach was alive...with crabs!
Hundreds and maybe thousands of little ones!
It was fun watching them scurry around.
Waving to boatmen who came every morning to ferry people to other islands.
We also found ourselves a lovely collection of seashells.
Here's just a few of them.
I actually picked up a whole crab shell.
Unfortunately the Bubs stepped on it by accident and it broke!

aww.. so cute! I've not been to a beach for a long time now and am so looking forward to be back to Redang in July! Weeeeeee :D
Is it just me, or did she get browner from all that sun, sea and sand? :) It looked like a fabulous and fun holiday!
Enjoy the holiday! :)
She's so adorable! She looked so cute with her pony tail up. Really liked the third picture, captured that innocence moment.. :)
Seems like a great holiday getaway! The beach looks lovely and importantly, not crazily crowded!
She is so brown n happy:)

Oh I've heard so many good things about Redang! It is quite a trek to get there from Sg though! Hope you have a fab time in July :)
MamaJ:
Haha, she did get slightly browner! It was a relaxing time indeed. Something calming about being in a place with so few people.
Celcilia:
We did :)
Leney:
Hee thanks! I like her pony-tailed look too. She can get quite engrossed during sand play!
Lilsnooze:
Oh yes! We really wanted someplace quiet and were so glad we found this place! So few humans!
Liverella:

I'm sure there are many beaches out there like that! The trick is not to stay where the main buzz happens. I feel it is good enough to travel to the busy town areas once or twice to look-see and dine. It is nice to have peace and quiet for the rest of the time.
