Last week, I took Bubbles to a Clementi Community Children's Library. It was so funny to see how excited she was! Rows and rows of books on low shelves to pull out and flip through.
If you live near the library, do check it out! It is small but cozy and the best part is that it is ok to make some noise (since all other kids will as well).
Check out A Dollop Of Me's Facebook page to see a video of Bubbles 'reading' at home. I've watched it tons of times myself :) Warms my heart. Do 'like' the page too (if you do!) I'll be writing a post about this FB thing soon, am going off for my Monday outing with Bubbles now!

For the longest longest time, I was wondering why there isn't a public library in Clementi. Turns out that there is one. Hmmph, can't believe that I didn't know of its existence for so many years ...
Okay, at least now I know where I can bring my boys to in between picking them up from school and dinner.
Thanks for the post and the link!

I have to tell you that even though I checked the address, I circled round and round expecting to see a standalone building! This Children's Library is situated at the foot of a HDB block. Do check the website for opening hours - I was there too early that day - I think they open at 4pm on weekdays. Hope your boys enjoy the place too!
We've been paying regular visits to this library -- pity it's now really a bit far away since I've moved! The opening hours are rather odd and inconvenient though. I asked the librarian why they don't open in the morning and she said the place would be a childcare centre if they did. Hah.
Good to see Bubbles is enjoying her books!

I must have read about it on your blog then :) Maybe we should meet there sometime!
I heart our community libraries! - though I haven't been to this one before. They are well-stocked with books in generally good condition. Wonderful way to save costs & the trees. Anya is an active member!

Yes they are! NLB does a great job I must say.
