Of all the cars in our carpark, I had to scrape a brand new white BMW convertible :( It is one of those cars kept in pristine conditions - always shiny and clean. As I turned out from my parking lot, I heard a grating sound and my heart dropped to my toes.I stopped my car and ran to see the damage done. There was quite a bit of black markings. I didn't dare peel the black marks off in case I create more damage.
A left a post-it note with my name and number to ask the owner to call me. She did, and said some of the paint had come off :( She also told me what I already knew, that it is a NEW car.
I can only hope now that most of the cost can be covered through a warranty. But I can only wait and see.

I guess so, I thought it was the right thing to do. Am so afraid it will come up to a huge sum now :( I showed Roboman and he said it is quite bad!

Thanks dear! Yeah, someone told me that at least it wasn't an accident that I got involved in. Just bad judgement first thing in the morning. Have decided to park far away from cars today =P

Yeah someone just asked me about insurance today. I'm not sure how it works - need to ask the Hubs. haha. But I may just wait to see what the damage is going to be first. She hasn't told me yet and the last I saw, the car hasn't been fixed either. She probably haven't had the time to send it in for repair. Thanks for the encouragement!

Yeah, I can't imagine if someone did that to my car and drove off! Surprisingly though my car wasn't scratched as much!
