congrats! u can now officially start your shopping spree for cute girly stuff... oh, btw, some advice - try not to buy the kinda clothes that u have to pull over the baby's head for the first month or so, cos she'll still be v floppy n those kinda clothes r hard to put on.
tiffany: Yups! Looks like I have to exercise self-control. haha
imp: Aunty Imp! Don't spoil her! hee :)
lilsnooze: I know - just like there are most stuff for women than men!
edibebe: LOL - yup, I've started!
yuling: Haha you're right! Good thing I actually really like Pink :)
jacinta: I know! I kept having to say "it" or him/her etc. Now I can for sure say "her" and start thinking of names :)
nuttyjas: Still thinking! Might do the Chinese name first since we're going to follow the family poem. Hard for English names though, I've realised! First I have to like the name, then it can't be a name already used in the family, then it has to have a good meaning, and finally the initials should not read something weird. haha
cote-p: Thank you thank you :)
iwhipiwokicraft: I have many ideas. Have to PLAN now how to execute them :)
celcilia: Yes yes, you guessed right! hee
faith: Thanks for that advice! Sighs, I only read that in the book after buying tons of pull over the head types for others!(incl you!). Hope you're doing well :)
so fun... there's a blog u need to check, it's my church friend who currently lives in the states. She has 3 girls and she does all these wonderful activities with them. http://ikatbag.blogspot.com/ http://bupbilla.blogspot.com/
lyn kang: I'll be happy either way! But I hope I'll eventually have a mix of boys and girls. It is always fun that way. But we'll see what God provides! Yup the family poem traditionally is meant for naming boys only, but we thought why not for our daughter as well - saves us the hassle of thinking from scratch! We just need to think of the last character. I've just emailed the Hokkien Assoc to get a copy of the poem because we unfortunately misplaced ours!
jamie: Yes, have started somewhat. Quite overwhelmed though at the shops! (both online and actual ones!)
amanda: Eeeeek hahahah. Violet reminds me of the girl who turned purple in Charlie and the Choc Factory!
beanbean: You did! haha :) I'm certainly going to enjoy myself. I already am going 'soooo cuuuute' all the time when in any baby girls' section in shops.
