A question that gets asked very often these days. It is the same question I asked my gynae during my last ultrasound scan.
To give her credit, she tried for quite sometime to scan from different angles. But our dear little one was so active and moving around a lot that it was really difficult to see! It was funny (although perhaps rude?!) that we were trying to scan from the butt.
Doc thinks baby is a girl, but we can't be 100% sure yet since you know, things can be hidden.
Still, it didn't stop me from eyeing these lovelies from Forget-me-not Kids!
Roboman says NO buying baby girl things till we know for sure next month though...hmph...

Yah, at around 16 weeks, my doc told us she was 60% sure Noey was a girl, then at 18 weeks, she had just said she was 90% sure it was a girl then suddenly spied something and said she was 75% sure it was a boy! Argh! We knew FOR SURE only at the detailed scan.

i think it's a boy actually. ur stomach is quite sharp and u probably don't look pregnant from behind.

yep, it's so much more fun shopping for a girl :) but roboman is right - it's more prudent to wait to be sure before buying. n tummy shape is not an accurate determinant - i'm the best example of an exception to the rule!

yah, at 20 wks. we went to scan an extra time at around 18 wks before we left for US cos we wanted to know what to buy! our dr was sure then that Noey was a boy but we were only SURE at the detailed scan. haha.
