A lump in my throat

I spent yesterday moping around at home with a horrendously painful throat and chills. I was feeling really down, and found myself crying as I watched the sombre news on TV.

Today, the doctor pronounced that I have developed a secondary bacteria infection, and I've been put on a course of antibiotics.

Still, I have a lot to be thankful for.

For our parents who love and do so much for us
For our siblings with whom we share life experiences with
For friends who have entered our lives
For our jobs amidst this trying times
For safety throughout all our many travels
For relatively good health that enables us to live life to the fullest

And most of all, for God's gift of life.
