Appreciation

It has been some time since I've sent a note of appreciation for great service I've experienced. So I made it a point to send this one.

It is rather wordy, as I rushed it out when I wasn't exactly in the most eloquent of moods. Still, I hope it makes their day!

"This is a bit of a delayed Thank You mail, but as they say 'better late than never'!

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Watsons staff from the Funan Mall Branch. I was there about 3 weeks back requesting to buy 70 tubes of Nivea handcream. (I'm organising a Christmas giftaway for the domestic helpers in my church.)

As there weren't enough of the handcream in the store, I was asked for my name and phone number, and informed that the handcream will be delivered to the Funan store for my collection on another day. The very next day, I received a call to inform me that 50 tubes was already delivered, and that when the final 20 arrive, I would be informed. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quick, efficient and friendly service! Sure enough, I received another call later in the day about the additional 20 tubes.

When I arrived at the store the next day, I was expecting some confusion, but I was received with much pleasantness and efficiency. The lady who served me even helped me count all the tubes to ensure that I received all 70.

My regret is that I did not get the names all the 3 people who helped me - 3 ladies - one who served me on the 1st day, the one who called me, and the one whom I collected the handcream from. They all certainly exemplified good service and deserve to be commended :)
