Wine & Cheese

As they say, the night was still young after the Arabian Night party.

We popped down to the Wine Hut. We weren't very impressed with the decor or music of the place, but the cushy sofas made it comfortable to lounge. After all, our investment-banker-time-never-his-own friend took a while to peel himself away from work.

We couldn't help but reminisce about the New Zealand trip, where beautiful wines were had in scenic, tranquil surroundings.

Still, it was memorable because I decided to reacquaint myself with blue cheese. For the longest time, blue cheese has been considered one of the most disliked food for me. It has been years since I last had it and I never include it in the cheese platters I serve.

Amazingly, the very first nibble I took turned out to be very pleasant! I decided then that my tastes have changed, and blue cheese would now certainly be included in my diet.

Much like baked beans. I could never eat them before.

Ok, I know this is going to sound crazy, scary and erm...bimbotic ;-P but plz tell me the hp in the pic is not yours? Cos I'm using the same model too. Is this a night of coincidence or what?! Heh heh.

Sadly, blue cheese is one food which I've tried several times but yet to acquire the taste of, despite the raves from several pals.

CDR: LOL - OK be seriously creeped out coz YES that is my phone! Mine's the newer batch so it doesn't have the peeling problem the 1st batch did. Erm, I haven't reached the stage of raving about blue cheese yet, but there's now a certain enjoyment to nibbling them :)

lms: THANKS :) It was a vintage find via Etsy a couple of months back. I love how it keeps my hands free.

tiff: Cheese and wine are a great combo. The flavours of each complements the other.

alasmydear: Oh yes no soft cheeses for you right now! Anyway I've heard some woman's palate preferences change post-pregnancy - so we'll see! Thanks, I just like changing the look of the page :) My little decorative space.
