I will be out soon.

I was going to start off this post by describing how I have not quite come out of the doldrums. But then as I wrote, I prayed and thought about all the other little mercies I had, and shook myself (partially) out of the rut.

Last evening I had a lovely spur-of-a-moment bout of activities. After trailing a friend's car through heavy traffic, we visited madmoneymonkey's newborn baby boy. That baby never stops moving! He was lying in his little rocker constantly waving his arms and legs in the air, moving his head, and making gurgly sounds. It was amazing to watch his non-stop movements. The new mother was also looking very good, with a big dinner spread laid out for her by the confinement nanny :) It was all very interesting to me!

We then sped off to Junction 8 for a quick dinner. I honestly can't remember the last time I visited this shopping mall! It must have been ages ago. I'm so unfamiliar with that area. It confuses me. Still, it was fun to see an old mall through my "new eyes".

Doing random fun activities does a great deal for the spirits. So while the waking up to work this morning still felt very blue, thinking back to last evening's experiences help.

So. I've just effectively removed all the other rants from this original post. *Pat on my back*

Give ear to my words, O Lord,
Consider my meditation.
Give heed to the voice of my cry,
My King and my God,
For to You I will pray.
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up.
(Psalm 5:1-3)

I ran into a spate of bad stuff at work recently too. In fact, still not out of it. :(

But I've realized that blogging helps. Alot. Extremely therapeutic. ;-)

Hope things get better for you soon!

nuttyjas: Hope you're ok too! I also tend to shop and eat when feeling stressed/down. No good for wallet and waistline!

haha, i'm like a 'fugitive on the run' in the blog-o-sphere. Used to open up my blog but a pesky fellow (someone I know personally but do not want her to read my blog)found me out. So, have been keeping it private.

But, lately have been entertaining the thought of opening another one. ;-P

CDR: Ahh! Yes, I have learnt that is is almost impossible to be completely anonymous on blogosphere unless the writing is solely on hard, non-personal topics. But for many blogging is cathartic, so personal stuff do get shared. Well, let me know if you do decide to start a new one :)
