Since it is situated at Central and a walking distance from the shopping area we were at, we planned a pit-stop there for lunch. We were all prepared to wait in queue to get seats. When we arrived however, we saw this:
Typically, patrons pick what they want when the carts reached their tables, but because of the tight squeeze of overly packed tables and waiting customers milling around, there was an added frenzy of people walking around ordering their food, or shouting their requests across tables.
After waiting for some time and getting used to dodging people, it became clear to us, two couples with a 4-month-old baby, that we would not get to sit anytime soon. We left, disappointed, to find food elsewhere.

ummmmmm.....for this simple reason, i avoid dining 'simple' in HK. i hate the hassle and that deafening din. i think you'll like macau better. they form queues. and the owners of restaurants smile at you.
imp: Yeah we learnt the hard way! Come to think of it, we didn't get to eat in any of the recommended places by locals. The only good place was far away from the city at Sai Kung! Seafood was fantastic.
wah this is madness!! O.o
tiff: Yep - I really didn't like just how crowded it was. And it was hot too, so on several occasions I've had sweaty people bump into me.
