My regular stylist was not available (he often has a hangover problem but does a fantastic cut), and the 2nd choice stylist was on medical leave due to an accident.
I've always received great cuts at the salon, so I said ok to whichever stylist that was assigned to me. He turned out to be a young, bespectacled man sporting the emo look. He wore geek spectacles and a black cardigan. To be fair, he was extremely pleasant and very earnest.
But although I could not see what he was doing because I had my glasses off, I could tell from the start that he was not as experienced as the rest. He took twice as long and seemed to have to correct the cut a couple of times.
Anyway, my hair is now TOO SHORT! I seriously look like the small letter "i" with a very round dot...
I have to put on contact lenses now till my hair grows out lest I be mistaken for a schoolgirl.
Grow, hair, GROW!!

oh no!!! is it very bad?!? i must come see it. it can't be that bad? what happened to you wanting to grow it out?

take some pics and we see? maybe it isn't tat bad? :) just wait for another week or 2 -- by then the hair would not look so freshly cut. and it would grow to a more comfortable shap. Usually that is what happens to me when i cut my hair. when i step out i don't like it all that much but after a week it looks much better. it looks more me :) cheer up! or u can try to gel it abit to look more chic if its really short.
imp: The cut is ok but it is just too short and not the look I wanted at all :( I think it is just that he doesn't know me at all! I think I might just really grow it out after this incident. It is harder to go wrong with longer hair, although I'm loving the convenience of short hair.
wendy: Nooo pics! *Shy* Honestly the cut is not bad, but it is just too short and not me. I feel it doesn't suit the rest of my head/neck/body =P, nor the look I am used to seeing myself in! Yah, I think I've have to use some hair products to ruffle the back - messy look =P
hmm. it's not bad cut. but yah, agree it doesn't quite suit u. will grow soon!!
Maybe its not that bad..we are always very hard on ourselves...
ame: I think I look better in this hairstyle when I'm not wearing my specs. So it looks like mega contact lenses time!
