After 1.5 days of walking lots, queuing lots and bearing with the noise, I decided I had enough and wanted to take things slow. So, by most Singaporeans' (and perhaps Hongkongers') standards, the amount of shopping I did was not great =)
Not that it really mattered to me though. I enjoyed views at the Peak, the trip to Sai Kung for seafood, and (surprise surprise) the visit to Hongkong's History Museum.
But for now, I am glad to be back home - to some peace and quiet =)

And that's why tehpeng doesnt like hk one bit...heh.
Oooh, did you say u went hk with a 4-mth old? Wow. I'm very impressed with the parents. Looks like i shld start my travel planning!
Roboman doesn't like it too. He's been there before and said he wouldn't be able to live there. I can imagine that in cooler weather it would have been more pleasant though.
Yes the 4-month-old was such a sweetie! He hardly fussed at all although when we took him out of the strappy thing he was carried in, I realised he was all sweaty! Salespeople and wait staff all loved to play with him :) I'm sure it will be same for Nat!
you're back! yah, DD really doesn't like HK either - he finds it way too crowded. that's a brilliant shot from the peak you've got as your header btw -- clear and unsmoggy!
beanbean: Yes, we had perfectly sunny and un-smoggy weather! Was great to behold the views from the Peak :) We were told that the typhoon last week and the controls on smog in China really cleared the air!
go to some beach resort next time. can R&R better! :)
tiff: Yes, that is definitely on the cards! Spas and beaches. MMMMmm :) But HK is still the place to go for shopping.
try Paradize Resort off Phuket Island. (when the situation is better.)
shopping wise, i really like bkk! must go hk to shop someday! :)
tiff: Thanks for the recommendation! Yes, BKK's lots cheaper too - in general.
