This is one of their famous street foods. The fishballs are firmer - denser than the kind we get in Singapore. They are likely to contain more fish meat than flour. The curry sauce, although called "curry", is to me very un-curry like. It is delicious though, less thick than coconut curry and with a tinge of vinegar.
I of course asked for mine to be more spicy ;)
Most street vendors sell them on sticks, but I got mine served in a styrofoam bowl as I first saw them sold in a proper sit-down eatery.
Definitely a snack that is crave-worthy!

My fav!! I must have them whenever I'm in hk.
Sometimes my mum will put fishballs in curry just to satisfy my craving but they are not the same lor!
lms: Your mum's so sweet! =) But yeah, I would have no idea how to make them - they're just different!
Yay, you tried! I love 'em on the stick - it makes the experience more 'street-like', if you get me, haha. :P~
jacinta: I would have loved to have tried them on a stick too! But I saw these ones first and immediately ordered them. Haha. I have to admit that I was too full for most of the trip (eating all sorts of other things) that I forgot to try those on sticks. Till next time!
